She has specialized in Roman Law, History of European Law and Comparative Private Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University, at the Roman Law and Eastern Mediterranean Law - Sapienza University of Rome, at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law (ISDC), the University of Lausanne, the University of Freiburg and Neuchâtel, Switzerland. She has also specialized in Administrative Law at the Law Schools in Rome, Lion and Barcelona, at Tulane University – New Orleans, and in Civil and Commercial Law at the International Development Law Institute (IDLI), Rome, at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), as well as at Swiss Institute of Comparative Law (ISDC). Lecture courses taught in Legislative Drafting, Access to Information and Information Protection, Legislative Framework of Local Governance, of Concessions, etc. at the Public Administration Institute. She has also participated in international programs and committees as an expert. From 1992 to present Prof. Malina Novkirishka-Stoyanova works as a counsellor at the Legal Directorate of the Council of Ministers.
Prof. Malina Novkirishka-Stoyanova has written a number of monographs and textbooks in the sphere of Roman Private Law, virtual training courses on Roman Private Law and Ancient Legal Systems, as well as many studies and articles concerning Roman Law, History of European Private Law, Ancient Legal Systems and Legislative Drafting.

Regular postgraduate student in Civil Law Studies at the Faculty of Law, St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University(1975); senior assistant (1978); associate professor in Civil and Marital Law (1987); professor (1995). PhD in Law (1975); Doctor of Legal Sciences(2001).
Teaching experience in all civil law spheres. Lecturer at St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University, St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia Universityand New Bulgarian University.
Specializations at the Universities of Warsaw, St. Petersburg and Nancy.
An author of more than 130 publications. Supervisor of the International Parliamentary Internship Programme during the mandate of the 38th and 39th National Assembly (2000-2004).
A member of the General Assembly (1985-2007) and the Control Council of the Sofia University(1999-2005).

Prof. Ventsislav Stoyanov, PhD
Prof. Ventsislav Stoyanov is born on the 22nd of August, 1956 in Plovdiv. He graduates from primary school in his home town, and in 1975 graduates from French English School “R. Rolan”, Stara Zagora. In the same year he was admitted to the Faculty of Law at St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University.
He graduates from the university in 1982 and then works as a trainee judge Sofia District Court and as a junior judge in Plovdiv District Court.
In 1984 Ventsislav Stoyanov is enrolled as a regular postgraduate student in civil and marital law at the Institute for Legal Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. In 1987 he defended a doctoral thesis “Acquisition of real estate by adverse possession”. On the following year he becomes a research assistant at the Institute, and in 1996, following a competition, he is employed as an associate professor in civil and marital law at the Institute. In 2006 he is elected as a professor in the same legal subjects at the Faculty of Law of the Plovdiv University “Paisii Hulendarski”. He delivers lectures at the abovementioned Faculty as of 1996. In 2002 Prof. Ventsislav Stoyanov is elected as a Head of the Civil Law Sciences Department and in 2003 – as a Dean of the Faculty of Law.
Prof. Ventsislav Stoyanov is the author of more than 60 articles in the sphere of civil law. Among them there are the following three monographs: “Right to Use”, “Non-monetary contributions in commercial companies”, “Real Estate Register”, A textbook on property law and many more studies. From 1997 Prof. Ventsislav Stoyanov is a member of the editorial staff of magazine “Property and Law”. From 1991 to 1995 he has participated in the preparation of draft laws and other statutory instruments. Moreover, he was a member of the Legislation Council at the National assembly in the time period from 1995 to 1997. He teaches property law at the St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University, as an assistant(1987-1990), and at the Plovdiv University “Paisii Hulendarski” as an associate professor and professor. At the moment Prof. Ventsislav Stoyanov works at the Plovdiv University and at the Institute for Legal Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
He has specialized in England (1994), France (1993) and Switzerland (2008).
